TL;DR: The results indicate that rare coding variants in ANGPTL6 are causally related to familial forms of IA, and a higher rate of individuals with a history of high blood pressure among affected versus healthy individuals carrying Angiopoietin-Like 6 variants is observed, suggesting that ANGPTl6 could trigger cerebrovascular lesions when combined with other risk factors such as hypertension.

Characterization of 3D bifurcations in micro-scan and MRA-TOF images of cerebral vasculature for prediction of intra-cranial aneurysms.
Anass Nouri,Florent Autrusseau,Romain Bourcier,Alban Gaignard,Vincent L'Allinec,Celine Menguy,Joëlle Veziers,Hubert Desal,Gervaise Loirand,Richard Redon +9 more
TL;DR: This work proposes accurate, predictive 3D measurements of the bifurcations of the cerebral vascular tree and estimates the risk of occurrence of an aneurysm on a given bIfurcation.

The Endothelial Dysfunction Could Be a Cause of Heart Failure with Preserved Ejection Fraction Development in a Rat Model
T. Dupas,Thomas Pele,J. Dhot,Mélanie Burban,A. Persello,Virginie Aillerie,Angélique Erraud,Angela Tesse,David Stévant,A. Blangy-Letheule,Celine Menguy,Vincent Sauzeau,Michel De Waard,Bertrand Rozec,Chantal Gauthier,Benjamin Lauzier +15 more
TL;DR: Investigation of endothelial and cardiac function in 15, 30, and 45-week-old wild-type and Tgβ3 rats concluded that endothelial dysfunction could be a cause of HFpEF development.
3D bifurcations characterization for intra-cranial aneurysms prediction
Anass Nouri,Florent Autrusseau,Romain Bourcier,Alban Gaignard,Vincent L'Allinec,Celine Menguy,Joëlle Veziers,Hubert Desal,Gervaise Loirand,Richard Redon +9 more
TL;DR: In this work, thanks to a graph based approach, the bifurcations located on the circle of Willis within brain mice cerebral vasculature are detected and characterized in order to estimate geometrical patterns that can favor the risk of occurrence of an intra-cranial aneurysm.
Effect of aging on calcium signaling in C57Bl6J mouse cerebral arteries.
Carole Georgeon-Chartier,Carole Georgeon-Chartier,Celine Menguy,Celine Menguy,Anne Prévot,Jean-Luc Morel,Jean-Luc Morel +6 more
TL;DR: Results show that aging induces a decrease of contractility correlated with modifications of the expression of genes encoding Ca2+ signaling toolkit, which was decreased, whereas their duration was increased by a defection ofCa2+ store refilling.
