In vivo protein corona on nanoparticles: does the control of all material parameters orient the biological behavior?
Nimisha Singh,Célia Marets,Julien Boudon,Nadine Millot,Lucien Saviot,Lionel Maurizi +5 more
- 09 Mar 2021
TL;DR: The need for clarifications on the effect of PC in vivo and the control of its behavior by changing its physicochemical properties is demonstrated and the recent in vivo developments to understand mechanisms and challenges at the nano-bio interface are unfolded.
Identification of the Proteins Determining the Blood Circulation Time of Nanoparticles.
Cíntia Marques,Mohammad Javad Hajipour,Célia Marets,Alexandra Oudot,Reihaneh Safavi-Sohi,M.T. Guillemin,Gerrit Borchard,Olivier Jordan,Lucien Saviot,Lionel Maurizi +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the in vivo circulation time and corona composition of superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) with different surface charges/chemistries were analyzed over time.

Luminescent Gold Nanoclusters Interacting with Synthetic and Biological Vesicles.
R. Chiechio,Solène Ducarre,Gregory Moulin,Aurélie Dupont,Célia Marets,Pascale Even-Hernandez,Franck Artzner,Paolo Musumeci,Giorgia Franzò,Célia Ravel,Maria José LoFaro,Valérie Marchi +11 more
TL;DR: The ability of the AuNCs as markers for lipidic bilayer structures such as synthetic liposomes and biological extracellular vesicles (EVs) is demonstrated by zetametry and fluorescence microscopy and the strong adsorption of Au NCs results in the formation of a lamellar phase.

Encapsulation of Luminescent Gold Nanoclusters into Synthetic Vesicles
R. Chiechio,Solène Ducarre,Célia Marets,Aurélie Dupont,Pascale Even-Hernandez,Xavier Pinson,Stéphanie Dutertre,Franck Artzner,Paolo Musumeci,Célia Ravel,Maria Josè Lo Faro,Valérie Marchi +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explored the possible encapsulation of ultra-small-sized red and blue emitting gold nanoclusters into liposomes of various sizes and chemical compositions, and different methods were investigated to prepare vesicles containing Au NCs in their lumen.
