Copula-Based Interference Models for IoT Wireless Networks
Ce Zheng,Malcolm Egan,Laurent Clavier,Laurent Clavier,Gareth W. Peters,Jean-Marie Gorce +5 more
- 20 May 2019
TL;DR: Using the copula model, the joint distribution is characterized and a tractable model based on copulas is proposed that provides a basis for resource allocation and network design for coexisting IoT networks.
Dynamic Interference for Uplink SCMA in Large-Scale Wireless Networks without Coordination
TL;DR: It is shown that the dynamic interference from devices using SCMA is α-stable with non-trivial dependence structure for large-scale networks modeled via Poisson point processes, and the analysis suggests that ultra dense networks are desirable even with α- stable interference.
Stochastic Resource Optimization of Random Access for Transmitters With Correlated Activation
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors develop stochastic resource optimization algorithms to design a random access scheme that provably converges with probability one to locally optimal solutions of the throughput and the sum-rate.
Linear Combining in Dependent $α$-Stable Interference
Ce Zheng,Ce Zheng,Malcolm Egan,Laurent Clavier,Laurent Clavier,Troels Pedersen,Jean-Marie Gorce,Jean-Marie Gorce +7 more
- 07 Jun 2020
TL;DR: This paper provides an exact characterization of the interference random vector under a policy where each interferer independently accesses each band with probability p, and derives optimal linear combining weights and an analytical approximation for the bit error rate (BER), accurate for large transmit power.
