TL;DR: In this article , the authors used a flux-driven Josephson parametric amplifier (JPA) with the aim of approaching a noise level near the theoretically allowed limit of half quanta, and found the added noise to the system with a JPA as the first-stage amplifier to be lower than 110 mK at the frequencies from 0.938 GHz to 0.963 GHz.

TL;DR: In this paper , an axion dark matter search at Dine-Fischler-Srednicki-Zhitnitskii sensitivity with the CAPP-12TB haloscope, assuming axions contribute 100% of the local dark matter density.

Sergey Uchaikin,Boris Ivanov,Jinmyeong Kim,cCauglar Kutlu,Arjan van Loo,Yasunobu Nakamura,Violeta Gkika,Andrei N. Matlashov,Woohyun Chung,Yannis K. Semertzidis +9 more
- 13 Apr 2023
TL;DR: In this article , the authors report development and operation of low-noise amplifiers for axion search experiments targeting at different frequency ranges and show that the amplifiers show noise temperatures approaching the quantum limit.
