Feasibility, Effectiveness and Safety of Prehospital Intravenous Bolus Dose Nitroglycerin in Patients with Acute Pulmonary Edema.
Casey Patrick,Brad Ward,Jordan Anderson,Kelly Rogers Keene,Elizabeth Adams,Rebecca E. Cash,Ashish R. Panchal,Robert Dickson +7 more
TL;DR: Patients who were treated by paramedics with IV NTG had improved systolic blood pressure and oxygen saturation upon ED arrival as compared to their initial presentation and one patient had an adverse event, which was transient hypotension that did not require intervention.

Association between sleep characteristics, ideal cardiovascular health, and systemic inflammation, NHANES 2017–2018
Rebecca E. Cash,Remle P. Crowe,Scott A Goldberg,Scott A Goldberg,Casey Patrick,L Michael Wells-Whitworth,Laura K. Barger,Laura K. Barger,Carlos A. Camargo +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the association between sleep deprivation and inflammatory biomarkers indicative of cardiovascular disease risk was quantified in a nationally representative sample of adults in the United States and mediation by ideal cardiovascular health metrics was explored.

Prehospital Efficacy and Adverse Events Associated with Bolus Dose Epinephrine in Hypotensive Patients During Ground-Based EMS Transport.
Casey Patrick,Brad Ward,Jordan Anderson,Joe Fioretti,Kelly Rogers Keene,Carri Oubre,Rebecca E. Cash,Ashish R. Panchal,Robert Dickson +8 more
TL;DR: Preliminary data suggest that the administration of bolus dose epinephrine may be effective at rapidly augmenting hypotension in the prehospital setting with a minimal incidence of adverse events.

Feasibility of prehospital esmolol for refractory ventricular fibrillation
Casey Patrick,Remle P. Crowe,Brad Ward,Ali A. Muttalib Mohammed,Kelley Rogers Keene,Robert Dickson +5 more
TL;DR: This study aimed to assess the feasibility of prehospital bolus dose esmolol for patients with RVF treated by a high‐volume, ground‐based emergency medical services (EMS) agency.

Safety of prehospital intravenous bolus dose nitroglycerin in patients with acute pulmonary edema: A 4‐year review
Casey Patrick,Brad Ward,Michael Wells,Robert Dickson +3 more
TL;DR: The safety of prehospital bolus dose intravenous nitroglycerin in patients with APE was evaluated to evaluate the safety of prehospital bolus dose intravenous nitroglycerin in patients with APE.
