TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the DNA methylation profile of e-cigarette use and the ability of a methylation score to predict smoking and smoking-related lung cancer, and found that the methylation profiles associated with ecigarette use are less pronounced and distinct from that associated with cigarette smoking.
