TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated several methods for providing a renewable source of electricity to a beach campsite at Kirby Cove, Marin County, California, and found that a 800 Watt photovoltaic array with a hydrogen fuel cell best serves the requirements for clean, silent power.

TL;DR: Results show definite advantages with biodiesel and compressed natural gas for most pollutants, negligible benefits for e-diesel, and increased GHG emissions for liquefied natural gas and Fischer–Tropsch diesel (from natural gas).
