TL;DR: In this article, the authors examined the effectiveness of psychological therapies in treating children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and concluded that the psychological therapy for which there was the best evidence of effectiveness was CBT.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explore the space by engaging with therapists and social workers as dyads of proxies for parents and children with a history of trauma and conduct a study as a participatory workshop with proxies to understand how technology could support parents in coaching social-emotional learning during episodes of high intensity emotion and difficult behavior by the child.
Psychological therapies for children and adolescents exposed to trauma
TL;DR: The likelihood of being diagnosed with PTSD in children and adolescents who received a psychological therapy was significantly reduced compared to those who received no treatment, treatment as usual or were on a waiting list for up to a month following treatment.
