TL;DR: The root reinforcement and rainfall significantly enhance slope stability. Root reinforcement substantially improves soil shear strength and cohesion, while rainfall increases the safety factor of slopes. The vegetated slope has a higher shear strength and safety factor than the spoil and overburden slopes. The slope angle and rainfall parameters also have a significant impact on slope stability.
