Classical biological control of papaya mealybug, Paracoccus marginatus Williams and Granara de Willink (Hemiptera: Pseudococcidae) in tapioca by an encyrtide parasitoid, Acerophagus papayae in Perambalur District of Tamilnadu, India
TL;DR: The present study planned to manage the papaya mealybug in tapioca through the use of exotic parasitoid A. papayae in Perambalur district of Tamil Nadu and resulted in complete control of the mealybugs within a year of release of the parasitoids.
