Study of neutron-induced background and its effect on the search of 0$\nu\beta\beta$ decay in $\rm^{124}Sn$
N. Dokania,V. P. Singh,S. Mathimalar,C. Ghosh,V. Nanal,R. G. Pillay,S. Pal,K. G. Bhushan,A. K. Shrivastava +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the TIN detector was used for the search of Neutrinoless Double Beta Decay in $\rm^{124}Sn$ covering a broad energy range ($ \sim0.1$ to $ \sim18$~MeV) was generated using $ 9}Be(p,n)^{9}B$ reaction.

New limit for the half-life of double beta decay of 94 Zr to the first excited state of 94 Mo
N. Dokania,V. Nanal,Gagan Gupta,Surajit Pal,R. G. Pillay,P. K. Rath,V.I. Tretyak,A. Garai,A. Garai,H. Krishnamoorthy,H. Krishnamoorthy,C. Ghosh,P. K. Raina,K. G. Bhushan +13 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the double beta decay of 94Zr to the excited state of 94Mo at 871.1 keV was studied using a low background HPGe detector, where no evidence of this decay was found with a 232 g. y exposure of natural zirconium.

Characterization of PARIS LaBr3(Ce)-NaI(Tl) phoswich detectors up to Eγ ∼ 22 MeV
C. Ghosh,V. Nanal,R. G. Pillay,K. V. Anoop,N. Dokania,Sanjoy Pal,M. S. Pose,Gaurav Mishra,P. C. Rout,Suresh Kumar,Deepak Pandit,Debasish Mondal,Surajit Pal,S. R. Banerjee,P. J. Napiorkowski,O. Dorvaux,S. Kihel,C. Mathieu,A. Maj +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed characterization of two individual phoswich (LaBr3(Ce)-NaI(Tl)) elements has been carried out and the detector response is investigated over a wide range of Eγ = 0.6 to 22.6 MeV using radioactive sources and employing 11B(p,γ) reaction at Ep = 163 keV and Ep = 7.2 MeV.

Measured response of a liquid scintillation detector to quasi-monoenergetic electrons and neutrons
P. C. Rout,A. Gandhi,T. Basak,R. G. Thomas,C. Ghosh,Abhas Mitra,Gaurav Mishra,S. P. Behera,R. Kujur,E. T. Mirgule,B. K. Nayak,A. K. Saxena,Sanjeev Kumar,V. M. Datar +13 more
TL;DR: The response of a liquid scintillator (EJ-301) to monoenergetic electrons tagged by Compton back scattered γ-rays has been measured and has been compared with simulated results obtained using the Monte Carlo based Geant4 toolkit.
