Wear and thermal behaviour of M2 high-speed steel reinforced with NbC composite
TL;DR: In this article, a high speed steel composite reinforced with NbC and using Cu3P as sintering activator is studied, and the thermal behavior has been determined through differential dilatometry.

Wear behaviour of aluminum reinforced with nickel aluminide MMCs
TL;DR: In this article, the wear behavior of different aluminum matrix composites reinforced with Ni aluminides was evaluated using a pin-on-disk (P/M) apparatus and a complete metallographical study was done using scanning electron microscopy.

TL;DR: In this article, boriding thermochemical treatment was carried out to improve the tribological behavior of Monel 400 alloy under dry sliding conditions, and the surface layer consisted of three distinct regions: (I) an exterior dense nickel silicide layer, (II) a needle-like boride layer, and (III) the matrix.

Sinterability and wear behaviour of P/M M2 high speed steel reinforced with NbC composite
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal and wear behavior of reinforced with NbC composites has been studied through a dilatometric approach and the wear performances through a "pin on disk" instrumented test.

Corrosion Resistance of 2014 Aluminium Matrix Composites Reinforced with Atomised Ni3Al
TL;DR: The corrosion resistance of 2014 aluminium matrix composites has been evaluated in this paper, where the base alloy was manufactured through mechanical alloying, and reinforced with Ni3Al (manufactured through atomisation).
