Retroaortic left renal vein: multidetector computed tomography angiography findings and its clinical importance
Bulent Karaman,M. Koplay,Ersin Ozturk,C. Cinar Basekim,Hayri Ogul,Hakan Mutlu,E. Kizilkaya,Mecit Kantarci +7 more
TL;DR: MDCT angiography with axial, MPR, MIP, and 3D VR images is effective in the detection of vascular renal anomalies such as RLRV and differentiating it from other pathologic conditions causing hematuria is important in order to avoid complications during retroperitoneal surgery or interventional procedures.

Angulation, length, and morphology of the styloid process of the temporal bone analyzed by multidetector computed tomography.
Omer Onbas,Mecit Kantarci,R. Murat Karasen,Irmak Durur,C. Cinar Basekim,Fatih Alper,Adnan Okur +6 more
TL;DR: Investigating the angulation, length, and structural variations of the styloid process (SP) by multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) with 3D CT and MPR may show further detailed information related to SP.

Sonographic appearances of the normal ulnar nerve in the cubital tunnel
Ersin Ozturk,Guner Sonmez,Ahmet Çolak,H. Onur Sildiroglu,Hakan Mutlu,Mehmet Güney Şenol,C. Cinar Basekim,Esref Kizilkaya +7 more
TL;DR: The aim is to investigate the sonographic characteristics of the normal ulnar nerve in the cubital tunnel, as well as any differences related to age, sex, and dominant arm.

Diffuse pneumocephalus associated with infratentorial and supratentorial hemorrhages as a complication of spinal surgery
TL;DR: A 23-year-old woman was transferred to the authors' department with loss of consciousness 6 h after undergoing rod placement for thoracolumbar scoliosis and computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging of the brain revealed diffuse pneumocephalus and infra- and supratentorial hemorrhages, the first description of these uncommon complications in one patient after spine surgery.

Split-cord malformation and accompanying anomalies.
Ersin Ozturk,Guner Sonmez,Hakan Mutlu,Huseyin Onur Sildiroglu,Murat Velioglu,C. Cinar Basekim,Esref Kizilkaya +6 more
TL;DR: The magnetic resonance imaging appearances of spinal split-cord malformation (SCM) are presented and its characteristics and those of the accompanying anomalies should be determined in preoperative planning for SCM.
