TL;DR: Plasma toroidal rotation acceleration in EAST tokamak is achieved by non-axisymmetric magnetic perturbation fields. The acceleration strongly depends on the RMP coil configuration and the normalized collisionality. The modeling results show that the torque is in the co-current direction due to the dominant contribution from electrons.

TL;DR: VUV spectroscopy for EAST plasma impurity analysis has been implemented with accurate wavelength calibration using a zinc lamp. The calibrated VUV spectroscopy is capable of obtaining impurity spectra with high spectral resolution in the range of 50–300 nm. The dominant impurities in the edge region are carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen.

TL;DR: In this article , the frequency of BB is found to be dependent on the electron temperature and density gradient, which is a typical feature of electron-driven turbulence, and a negative correlation between energy confinement and the intensity of the BB turbulence during H-mode has been found, which indicates a strong electron thermal transport induced by theBB turbulence.
