The application analysis of bubble pump on the domestic solar water heater system is presented. The system investigated in this study is a passive device, self pumping and self regulating. It was test to use the bubble pump on solar water heater system. The test experiment has been taken on the existing vacuum tube about the efficiency, working fluid temperature and pressure and circulated power. In order to check the working temperature and working pressure effectively, the bubble pump was test separated from the solar water heater. The equipment consist of the bubble pump, heater and heat exchanger. The main structure of bubble pump was design depend on the character of two phase flow. The complete system was instrumented to measure pressures, temperatures and flow-rates at various locations. The theory analysis of design bubble pump has been given and the experiment design has been included in the paper.

Performance evaluation of bubble-pump used in solar water heater system

In this paper, we propose control of nonlinear mechanical systems with stochastic friction, which is a practical dynamic characteristic of real-time mechanical experiments. An adaptive observer is designed using windowing Least Square (LS) estimation for representing time-varying friction dynamics and compensating for the approximation error due to discretizing nonlinear mechanical systems. We construct a recurrent neural control for position tracking of mechanical systems. Its weights are partially updated using an online learning procedure to compensate for system perturbation. We conduct computer simulation to evaluate of our control algorithm and compare it to Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) control.

Intelligent Control Approach for Mechanical Systems with Random Friction Effect

A motor cylinder apparatus is used to transfer a load in industrial applications. The apparatus is composed of a motor and power transmission elements such as worm gear and screw. In this case, the nonlinear friction of the transmission elements has a bad influence on the position control performance. To overcome this problem, the position control system consists of a feedback controller to achieve nominal control performance and a disturbance observer to compensate nonlinear friction. Especially the filter of a disturbance observer is designed from viewpoint of robust stability. Finally, the simulation result shows that the proposed control system is effective for the disturbance elimination as well as the friction compensation.
