Antioxidant and Antimelanogenic Activities of Compounds Isolated from the Aerial Parts of Achillea alpina L
TL;DR: It is suggested that naturally occurring compounds present in a methanol extract of A. alpina have the potential to reduce oxidative stress and promote skin whitening.

Anti-inflammatory effects of 6'-O-acetyl mangiferin from Iris rossii Baker via NF-κb signal blocking in lipopolysaccharide-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells.
Ji-Hun Jang,Kiho Lee,Ho-Kyung Jung,Mi-Ok Sim,Tae-Muk Kim,Kyeong-Wan Woo,Byeongkwan An,Jung-Hee Cho,Hyun-Woo Cho +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that the anti-inflammatory effects of OAM may be attributed to the downregulation of COX-2 and iNOS via the suppression of NF-κB and the MAPK signaling pathway in RAW264.7 macrophages.

Chemical constituents of Dicentra spectabilis and their anti-inflammation effect
A Hyeon Kim,Ji-Hun Jang,Kyeong Wan Woo,Jong Eel Park,Ki Ho Lee,Ho Kyung Jung,Byeongkwan An,Won Seok Jung,Seong Ho Ham,Hyun Woo Cho +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, column chromatographic separation of the MeOH extract from the roots of Dicentra spectabilis yielded fourteen compounds, menisdaurin (1), menaddaurilide (2), trans-N-pcoumaroyltyramine (3), trans N-p-feruloyl-tyramines (4), 4-Oferuloylelquinicacid (5), chlorogenic acid (6), 3-O-ferULoylquinICacid (7), ferulic acid (8), protopine

Anti-inflammatory Constituents from the Aerial Parts of Iris minutiaurea.
TL;DR: It is found that compounds 1 and 2 significantly suppressed production of NO, and pro- inflammatory cytokine in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells, and then compound 1 were more efficient than compound 2 in lowering the level of proinflammatory cytokine.

Anti-obesity Effects of Peucedanum japonicum Thunberg L. on 3T3-L1 Cells and High-fat Diet-induced Obese Mice
Ho-Kyung Jung,Mi-Ok Sim,Ji-Hun Jang,Tae-Muk Kim,Byeongkwan An,Min-Suk Kim,Won Seok Jung +6 more
- 28 Feb 2016
TL;DR: Results indicate that PJT exhibits anti-obesity effects in obese mice by decreasing in serum lipid levels and lipogenesis related gene.
