Fourier transform infrared and 1h nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopic findings of silicone oil removed from eyes and the relationship of emulsification with retinotomy and glaucoma.
TL;DR: Intravitreally applied silicone oil undergoes no structural change and wide relaxing retinotomy constitutes a risk factor for silicone oil emulsification, which can occur earlier than expected and before it can be observed clinically.

Conformation-mediated Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) in blue-emitting polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP)-passivated zinc oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles.
Hasan Kurt,Ece Alpaslan,Burçin Yıldız,Alpay Taralp,Cleva W. Ow-Yang +4 more
- 15 Feb 2017
TL;DR: The emission properties of ZnO can be tuned by controlling the adsorbed PVP conformation on the ZnNO surface via the PVP concentration in theZnO precipitation medium.

Effects of Enoant and Ischemia and Reperfusion on Lens Metabolites of Rats
TL;DR: Oral administration of Enoant revealed effects on increasing membrane stabilization, the antioxidant capacity, osmotic regulator molecule capacity, and sorbitol content of lens disturbed by ischemia, which can be used where oxidative or osmosis stress is formed.
