Comparison of Biomechanical Properties of Dura Mater Substitutes and Cranial Human Dura Mater : An In Vitro Study
Ceren Kizmazoglu,Hasan Emre Aydin,Ismail Kaya,Murat Atar,Buğra Hüsemoğlu,Orhan Kalemci,Gulden Sozer,Hasan Havitcioglu +7 more
TL;DR: This biomechanical study contributed to the future development of artificial dura mater substitutes with biomechanicals properties similar to those of human dURA mater to optimize biomimetic materials.
Biomechanical Properties of the Cranial Dura Mater with Puncture Defects : An In Vitro Study.
Hasan Emre Aydin,Ceren Kizmazoglu,Ismail Kaya,Buğra Hüsemoğlu,Gulden Sozer,Hasan Havitcioglu,Ali Arslantas +6 more
TL;DR: A single, two or more punctures of the dura mater using a 20-gauge Quincke needle did not affect cranial dura tensile strength, and may contribute to the future development of artificial dURA mater substitutes and medical needles that have a lower negative impact on the biomechanical properties of dure mater.
Anatomic implications of lesser trochanterplasty.
TL;DR: The aim of this study was to measure the area of iliopsoas tendon attachment and the distance of sciatic nerve, medial circumflex femoral artery and quadratus muscle to lesser trochanter tip, before and after 5, 10, 15 mm depth excision of lesser Trochanter.

Novel multilayer meniscal scaffold provides biomechanical and histological results comparable to polyurethane scaffolds: An 8 week rabbit study.
TL;DR: In this study, the initial evaluation of novel multilayer meniscal scaffold prevented the shrinkage that may occur in the meniscus area and demonstrated superior biomechanical results compared to empty defects.

Scapular spine base fracture with long outside-in superior or posterior screws with reverse shoulder arthroplasty
Osman Nuri Eroğlu,Buğra Hüsemoğlu,Onur Basci,Mustafa Ozkan,Hasan Havitcioglu,Onur Hapa +5 more
- 20 Aug 2021
TL;DR: In this paper, a study was conducted to determine how long superior screws alone or in combination with posterior placement of metaglene screws protruding and penetrating into the scapular spine in reverse total shoulder arthroplasty affect the strength of the SCAPular spine.
