Boutros,Paul C. Boutros +79 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that intensified treatment of genomically aggressive localized prostate cancer may improve cure rates and numerous molecular aberrations were prognostic for disease recurrence, including several DNA methylation events, and a signature comprised of these aberration outperformed well-described prognostic biomarkers.

Wedge,Quaid Morris,Peter Van Loo,Dream SMC-Het Participants,Dream SMC-Het Participants +32 more
TL;DR: This work systematically elucidated key algorithmic problems in subclonal reconstruction, and developed mathematically valid quantitative metrics for evaluating them, then developed approaches to simulate realistic tumour genomes that harbour all known mutation types and processes.

Sheffield,Alain Spatz,Elizabeth Spriggs,Danh Tran-Thanh,Stephen Yip,Tong Zhang,Emina Torlakovic,Ming-Sound Tsao +24 more
TL;DR: The Canadian NTRK (CANTRK) study is an interlaboratory comparison ring study to optimize testing for neurotrophic receptor tyrosine kinase (NTRK)-fusion in Canadian laboratories as mentioned in this paper .

Costs of Next-Generation Sequencing Assays in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer: A Micro-Costing Study
Srishti Kumar,Alexandria Bennett,Pearl A. Campbell,Gareth A. Palidwor,Bryan Lo,Theodore J. Perkins,Surapon Nochaiwong,Harman Sekhon,David J. Stewart,Kednapa Thavorn +9 more
TL;DR: Trusight Tumor 170 Kit was the most expensive NGS assay for NSCLC diagnostics; however, an economic evaluation is required to identify the most cost-effective N GS assay.

Consensus Recommendations to Optimize the Detection and Reporting of NTRK Gene Fusions by RNA-Based Next-Generation Sequencing
Tracy Stockley,Bryan Lo,Adrian Box,Andrea Gomez Corredor,John F. DeCoteau,Patrice Desmeules,Harriet Feilotter,Daria Grafodatskaya,Cynthia Hawkins,Weei-Yuarn Huang,Iyare Izevbaye,Andreas I. Papadakis,Paul Park,Brandon S. Sheffield,Danh Tran-Thanh,Stephen Yip,Ming-Sound Tsao +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper , consensus recommendations for pre-analytic, analytic and reporting aspects of gene fusion detection by RNA-based NGS are presented for best practices for laboratory testing to optimize RNA based NGS gene fusion.
