TL;DR: Limiting the digoxin-Fab dose regimen at least allows the cost-effectiveness of this expensive antidote to be improved, and in contrast to Chan and Buckley ’ s recommendations, the lowest effective dose of digoxinFab as well as the most effective dosing regimen is currently not established in humans.

Fatal Mycobacterium tuberculosis brain abscess in an immunocompetent patient.
TL;DR: A non-HIV-infected 63-y-old woman presenting seizures and coma during the course of Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection led to the diagnosis of a large compressive brain abscess, and the patient died with multiorgan failure.
