A novel 3D interactive simulation system for Li/MnO2 coin cell production line was presented in this paper. In order to solve the shortcomings of using traditional solid model for static simulation, the 3D visualization of the model and interactive motion simulation for Li/MnO2 coin cell production line was realized by AutoCAD/3dsmax/VR-Platform interaction through the external software interface. The 3D assembling model was built by AutoCAD software and exported into the 3ds max environment by DWG format for rendering, and then channeled into VR-Platform software for creating virtual environment, human-computer interface and database connection inquiry for interactive simulation. Based on these techniques, the simulation system is achieved and provides an adequate interactive simulation interface for Li/MnO2 coin cell production line manufacturing process simulation, perfect information inquiries for designer and manager. Therefore the research of 3D interactive simulation system for Li/MnO2 coin cell production line has important research value and application prospect.

Research on 3D Interactive Simulation System for Li/MnO2 Coin Cell Production Line Based on Virtual Reality

The physical experiment based on science inquiry learning shows its advantages compared with traditional class demonstration. However, the participation in physical experiments is often stylized and there are still many limitations when promoting the laboratory learning. This paper presents the construction of a Virtual Optics Laboratory which is applied to the experiment of the Michelson interferometer. On the current platform, the phenomena of interference and background theories are visualized for the purpose of efficiently promoting conceptual understanding. Factors of the experimental environment such as wavelengths, properties of optical elements and perspectives can be altered with interactive tools, enabling students to set up the system, observe the phenomena of interference as well as measure wavelengths and small displacements. The simulated laboratories can be of great assistance in the development of inquiry skills to enhance school education.

Design of a Simulated Michelson Interferometer for Education Based on Virtual Reality

Telesurgery is defined as robotic surgery performed over a distance using a communication link. Methods of training for telesurgery are unknown. We investigated whether trainees perform better with latencies at the outset (700ms) or with zero latency and a training ramp (0, 350, 700ms). Four test exercises were conducted. Performance of the groups was compared for the different delay settings. Straight cut and grasp steadiness exercises showed no significant difference except at 700ms versus 0ms (p≪0.05). In object placement, differences occurred in the lower latencies (700ms versus 0ms; 700ms versus 350ms; p≪0.05), but the groups were not different at the end of the trial (700ms versus 700ms). A Fitts' law exercise showed no difference in performance between the groups at 700ms. In conclusion, training for telesurgery may be equally effective with full latency at the outset or by using a training ramp.

Effects of network delay on training for telesurgery

VR-based technology is a feasible idea for remote distance operation. Aiming the present material handling machine status, which is widely used in mine, port, train station, etc al, in this paper, the scheme of IR-based material handling remote operating for engineering machine (VMHROEM) is presented. The frame of this system is build, and simulating theory is studied in details, which mainly includes object- oriented modeling, modeling of virtual environment, modeling of human-computer interaction. In order to testify the theory, an experimental system considering the operator, computer, working machine, worked object, is given, which is integrated into closed loop by using mapping of human-computer and communication system. Here the interacting equipment consists of dataglove, Spaceball, shutter glasses, and virtual environment is modeled by using Worldtoolkit. While the real scene includes experimental fork that is the same scale as virtual working machine, barriers, worked object and other assisting facilities. The simulating results show that the operator can efficiently complete a remote distance operating task in the condition that he can be far away from the real scene.
