Bong Jun Kwon,Kyung Moon Lee,Hae Young Shin,Jinwoong Kim,Jinzhang Liu,Seokhyun Yoon,Soonil Lee,Yeong Hwan Ahn,Ji-Yong Park +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high density of vertically aligned ZnO nanowires with lengths from a few to ∼300μm were synthesized on SiO2 substrates with carbothermal vapor phase transport method with Au seeding layer.

Uncovering operational mechanisms of a single-walled carbon nanotube network device using local probe electrical characterizations.
TL;DR: The apparent switching behavior of the device with an on-off ratio>10(4) is found to be due to just two localized areas in the network of SWCNTs based on the measurements by electrostatic force microscopy and scanning gate microscopy.

Characterizations of individual ZnMgO nanowires synthesized by a vapor-transport method
TL;DR: In this article, the structural and luminescent properties of ZnMgO nanowires were investigated using various techniques, such as the shift of the (002) peak in the X-ray diffraction measurements and the blue shift of near-band-edge emission peak in photoluminescence measurements of the Zn-Mg-O samples.
