Control of periodic ripples growth on metals by femtosecond laser ellipticity.
TL;DR: Theoretical analyses indicate that no circular polarization is achieved for femtosecond lasers passing through quarter waveplate, and the induced ripple orientation is determined by the major axis of the polarization ellipse, and simulation results agree well with the experimental observations.

TL;DR: In this article, a method for preparing a two-dimensional periodic metal particle array structure through dual-wavelength femtosecond laser pulses is presented, in which the metal particle structure is distributed in the 2D direction in a periodic submicron dimension mode, and two-color femto-spectral laser pulses are collinearly focused and irradiated on a sample after common channel or branch channel time delay through a nonlinear frequency doubling technology.

Active tuning of longitudinal strong coupling between anisotropic borophene plasmons and Bloch surface waves.
TL;DR: In this paper, a coupled resonant system where an anisotropic borophene localized plasmonic (BLP) and Bloch surface wave (BSW) can simultaneously excited is proposed.

Chirality of exceptional points in bianisotropic metasurfaces.
TL;DR: This work theoretically shows that the intrinsic chirality of this kind of EP is only determined by the sign of the scattering rate difference, and that these EPs could only be on or within a fundamental scattering bound in an asymmetric resonant system.
