Ultrasonic Vibration Assisted Cutting of Nomex Honeycomb Core Materials
TL;DR: In this article, a cutting force model was proposed to study the relationship between cutting parameters and cutting force, and the effects of cutting parameters on machined surface quality of honeycomb core wall were studied.

Finite Element and Experimental Analysis of Ultrasonic Vibration Milling of High-Volume Fraction SiCp/Al Composites
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used finite element analysis and experiment to study the machining performance of high-volume fraction SiCp/Al composites in longitudinal-torsional ultrasonic-assisted milling (LTUAM), and its feasibility was evaluated by comparing with conventional Milling (CM).

Effect of Ultrasonic Vibration Tensile on the Mechanical Properties of High-Volume Fraction SiCp/Al Composite
TL;DR: In this article, an ultrasonic vibration tensile device was introduced with a view to investigate the change in stress of the material under ultrasonic vibrations, and the results showed that there are three major stages in the change of stress of a SiC material: the ultrasonic stress superposition effect, softening effect, and Hall-Petch strengthening effect.
