N4-acetylcytidine regulates the replication and pathogenicity of enterovirus 71
Haojie Hao,Weichi Liu,Yuanjiu Miao,Li Ma,Baocheng Yu,Lishi Liu,Chunjie Yang,Kui Zhang,Zhen Chen,Jingwen Yang,Zhenhua Zheng,Bo Zhang,Fei Deng,Peng Gong,Jianhui Yuan,Zhang-li Hu,Wuxiang Guan +16 more
TL;DR: It is reported that the 5′ untranslated region of the enterovirus 71 (EV71) genome was ac4C modified by the host acetyltransferase NAT10, which suppressed EV71 replication and increased the binding of RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (3D) to viral RNA.
Hot spots of the main limiter induced by fast ions in experimental advanced superconducting tokamak (EAST)
Youming Li,Y. F. Xu,X. Y. Xu,G. Xu,R. R. Liang,R. Ding,X. Liu,K. Geng,Tao Zhang,S. X. Wang,H.C. Fan,G. Q. Zhong,S. Y. Fu,D. A. Lu,S. T. Mao,J. Fu,Qiong Zhang,Lei Cao,Bo Zhang,Liang Wang,R. H. Chen,Ning Yan,Q. Q. Yang,H. Q. Liu,Y. L. Xie,X. Gong,J.S. Hu +26 more
TL;DR: In EAST, co-current perpendicular NBI enhances hot spots on the main limiter, with peak heat loads of ~0.5 MW/m², primarily caused by NBI ion loss due to toroidal field ripple and Coulomb collisions.
Tunable and selective hydrogenation of furfural to furfuryl alcohol and cyclopentanone over Pt supported on biomass-derived porous heteroatom doped carbon
TL;DR: A reaction mechanism for furfural reduction has been proposed and the surface properties and pore structure of the heteroatom doped carbon support might determine the interactions between the Pt nanoparticles, carbon support and catalytic reactants in water, which in turn could have led to a good selectivity control.
Molecular characterization of free tropospheric aerosol collected at the Pico Mountain Observatory: A case study with a long-range transported biomass burning plume
Katja Dzepina,Katja Dzepina,Claudio Mazzoleni,Paulo Fialho,Swarup China,Bo Zhang,Robert Owen,Robert Owen,Detlev Helmig,Jacques Hueber,Sumit Kumar,Judith A. Perlinger,Louisa Kramer,M. P. Dziobak,M. T. Ampadu,S. Olsen,Donald J. Wuebbles,Lynn Mazzoleni +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a detailed molecular characterization of free tropospheric aged aerosol intercepted at a lower free troposphere remote location and provides evidence of low oxygenation after long-range transport is presented.
Exploring the inorganic composition of the Asian Tropopause Aerosol Layer using medium-duration balloon flights
Hazel Vernier,Neeraj Rastogi,Hongyu Liu,Amitesh Kumar Pandit,Kristopher M. Bedka,Anil Patel,M. Venkat Ratnam,B. Kumar,Bo Zhang,Harish Gadhavi,Frank G. Wienhold,Gwenaël Berthet,Jean-Paul Vernier +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a balloon-borne impactor near the tropopause region over India, using extended-duration balloon flights, was used to collect aerosol particles in the Asian Tropopause Aerosol Layer (ATAL).
