Nickel‐Catalyzed Four‐Component Carbonylation of Ethers and Olefins: Direct Access to γ‐Oxy Esters and Amides
TL;DR: In this paper , a nickel-catalyzed four-component carbonylation of olefins with ethers under low CO gas pressure was developed, and diverse γ-oxy-substituted esters and amides were produced in good yields with excellent functional group tolerance.

Cobalt-Catalyzed Direct Aminocarbonylation of Ethers: Efficient Access to α-Amide Substituted Ether Derivatives.
TL;DR: In this paper , a cobalt-catalyzed carbonylative coupling of ethers with amines to construct α-carbonylated ethers has been achieved, and a medicine for treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) can be synthesized by this process straightforwardly.

Palladium-Catalyzed Synthesis of 1,2-Diketones from Aryl Halides and Organoaluminum Reagents Using tert-Butyl Isocyanide as the CO Source
TL;DR: An interesting and practical procedure for the synthesis of 1,2-diketones from aryl halides and organoaluminum reagents has been developed using tert-butyl isocyanide as the CO source and palladium as the catalyst, resulting in good to excellent yields with good functional group tolerance.

Palladium-catalyzed synthesis of quinolin-2(1H)-ones: the unexpected reactivity of azodicarboxylate.
TL;DR: A Pd(ii)-catalyzed synthesis of quinolin-2(1H)-ones from quinoline N-oxides was developed with azodicarboxylates which act as both the activating agent and oxidant.

Rhodium-Catalyzed Carbonylative Synthesis of Benzosilinones.
TL;DR: This work has developed a novel and practical procedure for the synthesis of benzosilinones by carbonylative cyclization, which is general and practical and applicable with excellent regioselectivity and good yields.
