Effects of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation and their underlying neural mechanisms evaluated with magnetic resonance imaging-based brain connectivity network analyses
Xiaowei Han,Jixin Luan,Pin Lv,Xiaoyan Xin,Xin Zhang,Amir Shmuel,Ze Shan Yao,Guolin Ma,Bing Zhang +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors discuss the technical details of repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) and the biological interpretation of brain networks identified with MRI analyses, comprehensively summarize the neurobiological effects in rTMS-modulated individuals, and elaborate on changes in the brain network in patients with various neuropsychiatric diseases receiving rehabilitation treatment with RTMS, concluding that brain connectivity network analysis based on MRI can reflect alterations in functional and structural connectivity networks comprising adjacent and separated brain regions related to stimulation sites.

Safety and immunogenicity of human rabies vaccine for the Chinese population after PEP: A systematic review and meta-analysis.
Lei Wang,Bing Zhang,Sheng-Li Meng,Ling-Ling Ge,Yuan You,Qin Xu,Hongbo Wang,Jing Tao Yang,Shuai Wang,Haofei Wu +9 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors evaluated the safety and immunogenicity of a rabies vaccine for human use after post-exposure in China, and found that vaccination after PEP could induce the body to produce sufficient RVNA.

Preparation of Foamed Ceramics from Graphite Tailings Using A Self-Foaming Method
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used graphite tailings for the preparation of foamed ceramics via a high-temperature self-foaming method, where residual carbon in the tailings acted as the foaming agent and no additional foaming agents were required.

The Dominant Role of the Water Column in Nitrogen Removal and N2O Emissions in Large Rivers
Wang Junfeng,Xia Xing-hui,Shaoda Liu,Sibo Zhang,Bing Zhang,Chenrun Jiang,Zhenrui Zhang,Yuan Xin,Xin Chen,Jing Huang,Jiaao Bao,William H. McDowell,Greg Michalski,Zhifeng Yang,Junfeng Xie +14 more
TL;DR: In this article , the water column contribution increased with stream order and accounted for more than 50% in rivers above fifth order in six river networks in China and the increase in the contact area of suspended sediment (SPS) water caused by higher SPS concentrations and river depths resulted in the shift as river size increased.

Different roles of Akt and mechanistic target of rapamycin in serum‑dependent chondroprotection of human osteoarthritic chondrocytes
TL;DR: It is proposed that 5% serum promotes cell proliferation via the Akt/Bcl‑2 axis and induces autophagy via the mTOR/LC‑3B axis in human OA chondrocytes, which requires consideration for preclinical and clinical therapy of OA.
