Gender differences in UV-induced skin inflammation, skin carcinogenesis and systemic damage.
Qing-Yuan Zhong,Bing Lin,Yin-Ting Chen,Yin-Ping Huang,Wei-Peng Feng,Ying Wu,Gui-Hong Long,Yun-Nan Zou,Yu Liu,Baoqin Lin,Nian-Li Sang,Janis Ya-Xian Zhan +11 more
TL;DR: There are gender differences in UV-induced skin inflammation, carcinogenesis and systemic damage in male mice, which indicates that male mice are more sensitive to UV irradiation, which may be responsible to greater oxidative stress and inflammatory damage.

Protective effects of Andrographolide sodium bisulfate on UV-induced skin carcinogenesis in mice model.
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors explored the effects of andrographolide sodium bisulfate (ASB) on UV-induced skin cancer and revealed the underlying molecular mechanism, which indicated that ASB significantly inhibited increase of skin epidermal thickness, inflammatory cells infiltration and fibers damage in dermis, oxidative stress injury and skin carcinogenesis.

RNA-seq and qRT-PCR analyses reveal the physiological response to acute hypoxia and reoxygenation in Epinephelus coioides
Xingxing Lai,Zhong Zhong,Bing Lin,Yuxin Wu,Yongqing Ma,Cuiping Zhang,Yang Yang,Mingqing Zhang,W.S. Qin,Xiaoqin Fu,Hu Shu +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the physiological responses of E. coioides muscle to acute hypoxic stress and reoxygenation were analyzed by transcriptome sequencing (RNA-seq) and quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR).
