TL;DR: In this paper, a preparation method and application of a temperature sensitive type Y2SiO5:Eu intelligent thermal barrier coating is presented, which has the advantages that the surface is even, no microcracks occurs, the thickness is uniform, no penetrating hole exists, and the bonding force is good.

Strength retention in scheelite coated SiC fibers: Effect of the gas composition and pre-heat treatment
TL;DR: In this article, a new and simple method of low temperature pre-heat treatment was adopted to eliminate the stress corrosion in the fiber coating process and to isolate the effect of different types of gases on stress corrosion cracking of fibers.
