Oxidative dehydrogenation of light alkanes to olefins on metal-free catalysts
TL;DR: This review surveyed and compared the preparation methods of the boron- and carbon-based catalysts and their characterization, their performance in theODH of light alkanes, and the mechanistic issues of the ODH including the identification of the possible active sites and the exploration of the underlying mechanisms.

Oxidative dehydrogenation of propane using layered borosilicate zeolite as the active and selective catalyst
TL;DR: In this paper, a layered borosilicate zeolite was demonstrated as highly active and selective catalyst for the oxidative dehydrogenation of propane, showing a propylene selectivity of 83.6% and the total light olefins (propylene and ethylene) selectivities of 91.9%.

Interfacial assembled preparation of porous carbon composites for selective CO2 capture at elevated temperatures
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported the synthesis of hierarchically structured porous carbon composites via an interfacial assembling strategy using nanoclay LAPONITE®, resorcinol and formaldehyde as precursors.

Coproduction of styrene and benzaldehyde over a boron nitride-supported monomeric MoOx catalyst
Jian Sheng,Wen-Cui Li,Yue-Ran Wang,Wen-Duo Lu,Bing Yan,Bin Qiu,Xin-Qian Gao,Shi-Qun Cheng,Lei He,An-Hui Lu +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a boron nitride-supported monomeric MoOx (MoOx/BN) was proposed for the selective coproduction of styrene and benzaldehyde through selective oxidation of ethylbenzene.
