Extracellular Vesicle-Mediated Delivery of Circular RNA SCMH1 Promotes Functional Recovery in Rodent and Nonhuman Primate Ischemic Stroke Models.
Li Yang,Bing Han,Zhiting Zhang,Zhiting Zhang,Zhiting Zhang,Shuguo Wang,Ying Bai,Yuan Zhang,Ying Tang,Du Lingli,Ling Xu,Fangfang Wu,Lei Zuo,Xufeng Chen,Yu Lin,Kezhong Liu,Qingqing Ye,Biling Chen,Bin Li,Tang Tianci,Yu Wang,Ling Shen,Guangtian Wang,Minzi Ju,Mengqin Yuan,Wei Jiang,John H. Zhang,John H. Zhang,Gang Hu,Jianhong Wang,Honghong Yao,Honghong Yao +31 more
TL;DR: Rabies virus glycoprotein-circSCMH1-extracellular vesicles afford protection by promoting functional recovery in the rodent and the nonhuman primate ischemic stroke models and demonstrates the basic mechanism of how circRNAs can be therapeutically exploited to improve poststroke outcomes.

N6-Methyladenosine Modification of Fatty Acid Amide Hydrolase Messenger RNA in Circular RNA STAG1-Regulated Astrocyte Dysfunction and Depressive-like Behaviors.
Rongrong Huang,Yuan Zhang,Ying Bai,Bing Han,Minzi Ju,Biling Chen,Li Yang,Yu Wang,Hongxing Zhang,Haisan Zhang,Chunming Xie,Zhijun Zhang,Honghong Yao,Honghong Yao +13 more
TL;DR: The functional link between circSTAG1 and m6A methylation in the context of MDD is dissected, providing evidence that circ STAG1 may be a novel therapeutic target for MDD.

Circulating Circular RNAs as Biomarkers for the Diagnosis and Prediction of Outcomes in Acute Ischemic Stroke.
Lei Zuo,Lin Zhang,Lin Zhang,Juan Zu,Zan Wang,Bing Han,Biling Chen,Mengjing Cheng,Minzi Ju,Mingyue Li,Guofang Shu,Mengqin Yuan,Wei Jiang,Xufeng Chen,Fuling Yan,Zhijun Zhang,Honghong Yao,Honghong Yao +17 more
TL;DR: Three circRNAs could serve as biomarkers for AIS diagnosis and prediction of stroke outcomes and the elevated levels of circPDS5B and circCDC14A after stroke might be because of increased levels in lymphocytes and granulocytes.

Strategies for targeting the P2Y12 receptor in the Central Nervous System.
TL;DR: The purinergic 2Y type 12 receptor (P2Y12R) is a well-known biological target for anti-thrombotic drugs due to its role in platelet aggregation and blood clotting as discussed by the authors .

Preparation and performance study of multichannel PLA artificial nerve conduits
Shanlong Wang,Yuyu Wang,Biling Chen,Mingda Zhao,Gongji Song,Jiannan Wang,Jianmei Xu +6 more
TL;DR: In this study, polylactic acid yarns were used as the braiding yarn, and the number of spindles during braiding was varied to achieve 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 multichannel artificial nerve conduits, which showed well constructed and tensile strength was more than 30 times that of the rabbit tibial nerve.
