An improved reference of the grapevine genome reasserts the origin of the PN40024 highly homozygous genotype
Amandine Velt,Bianca Frommer,Sophie le Blanc,Daniela Holtgräwe,Eric Duchêne,Vincent Dumas,Jérôme Grimplet,Philippe Hugueney,Catherine Kim,Marie-Christine Lahaye,José Tomás Matus,David Navarro-Payá,L. Orduña,Marcela K. Tello-Ruiz,Nicola Vitulo,Doreen Ware,Camille Rustenholz +16 more

TL;DR: In this article , an improved version of the reference PN40024, called PN12X.v4, was generated by incorporating long genomic sequencing reads to the assembly, which increased the continuity of the 12x.v2 scaffolds with a total number decreasing from 2,059 to 640 and a reduction in N bases.
Phased grapevine genome sequence of an Rpv12 carrier for biotechnological exploration of resistance to Plasmopara viticola
Bianca Frommer,S. Müllner,Daniela Holtgräwe,Prisca Viehöver,Bruno Hüttel,Reinhard Töpfer,Bernd Weisshaar,Eva Zyprian +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a haplotype-separated genome sequence of the diploid Rpv12-carrier Gf.99-03 was created and annotated, revealing approximately 600 up-regulated Vitis genes during host-pathogen interaction.

A fully phased interspecific grapevine rootstock genome sequence representing V. riparia and V. cinerea and allele-aware annotation of the phylloxera resistance locus Rdv1
Bianca Frommer,Ludger Hausmann,Daniela Holtgräwe,Prisca Viehöver,Bruno Hüttel,Richard Reinhardt,Reinhard Töpfer,Bernd Weisshaar +7 more
TL;DR: In this article , a fully phased, high-quality Börner genome sequence named BoeRC was created using long PacBio reads. But the results were limited to a small subset of the haplotype BoeCin, which was compared with sequences of phylloxera-susceptible and PHY-tolerant cultivars.
Genome Sequences of Both Organelles of the Grapevine Rootstock Cultivar 'Börner'
Bianca Frommer,Daniela Holtgräwe,Ludger Hausmann,Prisca Viehöver,Bruno Huettel,Reinhard Töpfer,Bernd Weisshaar +6 more
- 09 Apr 2020
TL;DR: Genomic long reads of the interspecific grapevine rootstock cultivar ‘Börner’ (Vitis riparia GM183 × Vitis cinerea Arnold) were used to assemble its chloroplast and mitochondrion genome sequences.

An improved reference of the grapevine genome supports reasserting the origin of the PN40024 highly-homozygous genotype
Amandine Velt,Bianca Frommer,Sophie le Blanc,Daniela Holtgräwe,Eric Duchêne,Vincent Dumas,Jérôme Grimplet,Philippe Hugueney,Marie Lahaye,Catherine Kim,José Tomás Matus,David Navarro-Payá,L. Orduña,Marcela K. Tello-Ruiz,Nicola Vitulo,Doreen Ware,Camille Rustenholz +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, an improved version of the reference PN40024, called PN12X.v4, was generated by incorporating long genomic sequencing reads to the assembly, and the number of scaffolds was highly increased.
