A simple and feasible atom-precise biotinylated Cu(I) complex for tumor-targeted chemodynamic therapy
Bi Luo,Liguang Chen,Zhao-Guo Hong,Xin You,Fu-Ping Huang,He-Dong Bian,Liangliang Zhang,Shulin Zhao +7 more
TL;DR: A simple and feasible atom-precise biotinylated Cu(i) complex, which can catalyze H2O2 overexpressed commonly in the tumor microenvironment to produce ˙OH through a Fenton-like reaction, was prepared and employed as an effective agent for tumor-targeted chemodynamic therapy as discussed by the authors.

Two groups of copperII pyridine–triazole complexes with “open or close” pepper rings and their in vitro antitumor activities
TL;DR: Flow cytometry and western blot analysis showed that the apoptosis of the leading complex C4 may be induced by the Bcl-2 family-mediated proteins through the mitochondrial dysfunction pathway, and UV-vis and fluorescence spectroscopy assays revealed that C4 has stronger insertion-binding interactions with CT-DNA than C1 and the fluorescence of C4 with BSA is mainly quenched by static quenching.
Synthesis, crystal structures and antioxidant activities of water-soluble salicylaldehyde Schiff base complexes
Zhao-Guo Hong,Xiu-Mei Zhang,Tai-Xue Wu,Chu Zheng,Bi Luo,Jie Tang,Fu-Ping Huang,Di Yao,He-Dong Bian,He-Dong Bian +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, seven chiral/achiral SOD-mimicking metal complexes were synthesized and fully characterized, and the results showed that the SOD activities of the hybrid proteins are higher than that of the corresponding complexes.
