F. Habtie,Bereket Ali Yemer,Alemayehu Ayle Gebre Wold,Alemnew Fantaye Yetina,Wulita Wondwosen Kebede,Yifru Worku Robie,Alemie Belete,Beyene Bitew,Kalkidan Yalew +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , Bayleton 25WP seed dressing was evaluated as a seed dressi ng, foliar spray and their integration in order to select cost effective rate and method of application for the management of faba bean gall (FBG) caused by Physoderma viciae.
Integrating genotype, fungicide, and spray schedule reduced gall (Physoderma) disease progression and enhanced grain yield in faba bean
TL;DR: Integrated management options that combine host resistance and fungicides to reduce FBG disease and minimize yield losses, and to determine fungicide spraying schedules in Bassona Worana district of Ethiopia, revealed that integration of faba bean genotypes, fungicides, and spray schedules significantly reducedFBG disease progression and increased grain yield though genotypes showed variable disease reactions in both years.
Fungicide screening for the management of faba bean gall (Physoderma vacia) disease in Ethiopia
Bereket Ali,Alemayehu Ayele,Dereje Amare,Yifru Worku,Aleme Belete,Alamenew Fantay,Asnakech Tekalegn,Wulita Wondwosen,Fekadu Tewolde,Beyene Bitew,Kalkidan Yalew +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a study was conducted to select a readily available fungicide/s with high efficacy level against Physoderma vacia (FBG) in Ethiopia using RCB-Design with three replications.

- 01 Jan 2014
TL;DR: In this article, the authors conducted a survey to find out the distribution and intensity of newly occurred epidemic faba bean gall disease and other diseases affecting faba beans in the major growing areas of central and northern part of Ethiopia.
Estimating yield loss of faba bean (Vicia faba L.) caused by gall disease in north Shoa, Ethiopia
TL;DR: In this article , the authors conducted field experiments on farmers' field during the 2018 and 2019 cropping seasons in Bassona Worana district, Ethiopia under natural conditions to estimate yield losses on local cultivar and improved faba bean varieties and to determine fungicides spray schedules.
