X-band rapid-scan EPR of samples with long electron spin relaxation times: A comparison of continuous wave, pulse and rapid-scan EPR
Deborah G. Mitchell,Mark Tseitlin,Richard W. Quine,Virginia Meyer,Mark E. Newton,Alexander Schnegg,Benjamin M. George,Sandra S. Eaton,Gareth R. Eaton +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the X-band room temperature spectra obtained by rapid-scan, continuous wave, field-swept echo-detected and Fourier transform electron paramagnetic resonance (FTEPR) were compared for three samples with long electron spin relaxation times.

On the influence of sub-wavelength Al/Si interface roughness on the efficiency of crystalline Si-solar cells
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of nano-planarization of pyramidally textured wafer surfaces by wet-chemical treatment on solar cell parameters is investigated, and the obtained significant increase of the photocurrent at long wavelengths is attributed to the improvement of the back side reflectance, whereas the higher fill factor is assigned to a lowering of back contact resistance.

Multifrequency EPR study of HWCVD μc-SiC:H for photovoltaic applications
Oleksandr Astakhov,Lihong Xiao,Friedhelm Finger,Tao Chen,Matthias Fehr,Benjamin M. George,Alexander Schnegg,Klaus Lips,Christian Teutloff +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of pulsed EPR measurements in S-, X-, and Q-band were performed to resolve hidden complexity of the EPR spectra of µc-SiC:H and determine the nucleus responsible for the hyperfine pattern observed in previous studies.
Water Oxidation Catalysis by Nanoparticulate Manganese Oxide Thin Films: Probing the Effect of the Manganese Precursors
Archana Singh,Rosalie K. Hocking,Shery L. Y. Chang,Benjamin M. George,Matthias Fehr,Klaus Lips,Alexander Schnegg,Leone Spiccia +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a series of molecular manganese complexes of varying nuclearity and metal oxidation state, formed in Nafion polymer, were shown to effectively catalyze water oxidation under neutral pH conditions with the onset of electrocatalysis occurring at an overpotential of only 150 mV.
Atomic structure of interface states in silicon heterojunction solar cells.
Benjamin M. George,Jan Behrends,Alexander Schnegg,T. F. Schulze,Matthias Fehr,Lars Korte,Bernd Rech,Klaus Lips,Martin Rohrmüller,Eva Rauls,Wolf Gero Schmidt,Uwe Gerstmann +11 more
TL;DR: Using orientation dependent electrically detected magnetic resonance and g tensor calculations based on density functional theory, microscopic structures are assigned to paramagnetic states involved in spin-dependent recombination at the interface of hydrogenated amorphous silicon crystalline silicon (a-Si:H/c-Si) heterojunction solar cells.
