Microwave-assisted “green” synthesis of 2-alkyl/arylbenzothiazoles in one pot: A facile approach to anti-tumor drugs
TL;DR: A series of 2-alkyl/aryl benzothiazoles has been synthesized on the basis of the potent and selective in vitro anti-tumor properties of 2-(3,4-diethoxyphenyl)-5-fluorobenzothiazole.

Regioselective one pot synthesis of 2‐alkyl/aryl‐4h‐benzo[1,4] thiazine‐3‐one via microwave irradiation
TL;DR: In this paper, a series of 2-alkyl/aryl-4H-benzo[1,4]thiazine-3-ones have been synthesized by microwave irradiation of ethyl-2-bromo-2 -alkyl-/aryl acetate and 2-amino thiophenol in the presence of 1,8-diazabicyclo-[5.4] undec-7-ene and N-methylpiperidine.

Facile One‐Pot Synthesis of 2‐Aryl‐substituted Nitriles and 2‐Aryl‐3‐keto Nitriles via Benzyne Reaction
TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of benzyne, generated using neutral conditions from (phenyl)[o]-(trimethylsilyl)•phenyl]iodonium triflate, and 2•lithionitriles, was described.

One-pot Synthesis of trans-7-Aryl-6H-6a,7-dihydro[1]benzopyrano[3,4-c][1,5]benzothiazepines
TL;DR: Green chemical approaches for the condensation reaction of benzenethiols and 3-arylidenenchroman-4-ones as synthons for the synthesis of a series of new trans-7-aryl-6H-6a,7-dihydro[1]benzo pyrano,3,4-c][1,5]benzos-thiazepines which may possess potential biological activity are described.

Synthesis of (Z)-hetarylmethylene and (Z)-substituted benzylidene derivatives of 4H-benzo(1,4)thiazine-3-thiones and their subsequent conversion to benzothiopyrano-(3,2-b)(1,4)benzothiazines
TL;DR: In this article, the derivatives of 4H-benzo(1,4)thiazine-3-thiones with various aldehydes were obtained by the reaction of the thiazine with dimethyl acetylenedicarboxylate and various arynes.
