Effect of NaCl and CaCl2 concentration on the rheological and structural characteristics of thermally-induced quinoa protein gels
Zhenhong Dai,Zhi Yang,Liliana de Campo,Elliot P. Gilbert,Elliot P. Gilbert,Robert Knott,Lirong Cheng,Ben Storer,Xiaoling Lin,Lan Luo,Shubham Patole,Yacine Hemar +11 more
TL;DR: The effect of ionic strength on the heat-induced gelation of quinoa protein isolates (QPI) at pH 7 was investigated in this article, where the gelation behavior and gel strength were characterised by oscillatory rheology.

Mitochondrial Translocator Protein (TSPO) Expression in the Brain After Whole Body Gamma Irradiation.
Calina Betlazar,Calina Betlazar,Ryan J. Middleton,Nicholas R. Howell,Ben Storer,Emma Davis,Justin Davies,Richard B. Banati,Richard B. Banati,Guo Jun Liu,Guo Jun Liu +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors explored the use of TSPO as a biomarker of brain tissue injury following whole body irradiation and found that acute low and high doses of gamma irradiation up to 2 Gy reduced the expression in the brain parenchymal microglia.
