Degradation of sulfamethoxazole by heat-activated persulfate oxidation: Elucidation of the degradation mechanism and influence of process parameters
TL;DR: In this paper, heat-activated persulfate oxidation was investigated as a promising technique for the removal of sulfamethoxazole from an aqueous environment, and it was found that the degradation efficiency increased with increasing persulfates concentration due to the increased SO4− production.

Two-Dimensional Crystal Grain Size Tuning in WS2 Atomic Layer Deposition: An Insight in the Nucleation Mechanism
Benjamin Groven,Ankit Nalin Mehta,Hugo Bender,Johan Meersschaut,Thomas Nuytten,Patrick Verdonck,Thierry Conard,Quentin Smets,Tom Schram,Ben Schoenaers,Andre Stesmans,Valeri Afanasʼev,Wilfried Vandervorst,Marc Heyns,Matty Caymax,Iuliana Radu,Annelies Delabie +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, a qualitative model for the WS2 nucleation behavior on dielectric surfaces during plasma-enhanced (PE-) ALD using tungsten hexafluoride (WF6), dihydrogen (H2) plasma and Dihydrogen sulfide (H 2S) was proposed.
Advances in SiCN-SiCN Bonding with High Accuracy Wafer-to-Wafer (W2W) Stacking Technology

- 04 Jun 2018
TL;DR: In this article, the authors present a study of recent studies in material exploration for W2W bonding and advanced W 2W alignment carried out as a holistic approach to enable a robust ultra-fine pitch interconnect for 3D system-on-chip (SoC) technology.

Aryl-viologen pentapeptide self-assembled conductive nanofibers.
David E. Clarke,Magdalena Olesińska,Tobias Mönch,Ben Schoenaers,Andre Stesmans,Oren A. Scherman +5 more
TL;DR: Using a combination of spectroscopic techniques and conductive atomic force microscopy, the molecular conformation of the resultant AVI3D2 fibers is investigated and how their conductivity is affected by β-sheet self-assembly is investigated.

ESR identification of the nitrogen acceptor in 2H-polytype synthetic MoS2: Dopant level and activation
TL;DR: In this paper, a multi-frequency electron spin resonance (ESR) study of p-type synthetic 2H MoS2 reveals a previously unreported signal of axial-symmetry characteristic for a hole-type center.
