TL;DR: In the chronic in vivo murine model, RAS antagonists partially attenuated the development of BVZ- or SNT-mediated cardiac dysfunction, and future clinical studies are warranted to investigate the cardioprotective effects of prophylactic treatment with RAS inhibitors.
