Long-term rice-crayfish-turtle co-culture maintains high crop yields by improving soil health and increasing soil microbial community stability
Peng Li,Guogan Wu,Yujie Li,Cong Hu,Lei Ge,Xianqing Zheng,Juanqin Zhang,Jun Chen,Hanlin Zhang,Naling Bai,Haiyun Zhang,Li-jun Song,Yu Sun,Wei Jiang,Junwei Jia,Yifan Chen,Cui Can Wang,Beibei Lv,Xiao Wu,Aihu Pan,Shuangxi Li,Weiguang Lv +21 more
TL;DR: In this article , the long-term effects of rice-crayfish-turtle (RCT) co-culture systems on soil health and microbial community stability, in addition to their relationship with rice yields, remain unclear.

Mechanisms of Surfactin from Bacillus subtilis SF1 against Fusarium foetens: A Novel Pathogen Inducing Potato Wilt
TL;DR: In this paper , Bacillus subtilis SF1 has the potential for controlling potato wilt induced by Fusarium foetens, resulting in a mycelium growth inhibition of 52.50 ± 2.59% in vitro and a significant decrease in incidence rate by 45.56%.

First Report of Lecanicillium aphanocladii causing rot of Morchella sextelata in China.
Beibei Lv,Yu Sun,Yifan Chen,Hailong Yu,Qin Mo +4 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors reported a serious rot disease with 30% natural incidence was observed on M. sextelata at a mushroom farm in Pinghu (N30°39', E121°2'), Zhejiang province of China.

A Rapid and Visual Method for Nucleic Acid Detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 Based on CRISPR/Cas12a-PMNT
Wei Jiang,Chuan He,Lan-Fang Bai,Yifan Chen,Junwei Jia,Aihu Pan,Beibei Lv,Xueming Tang,Xiao Wu +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a CRISPR/Cas12a system and a cationic-conjugated polythiophene derivative (poly[3-(3′-N, N,N,N-triethylamino-1′-propyloxy)-4-methyl-2,5-thiopheny hydrochloride] (PMNT) mixed with single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) were used for point-of-care testing.
Detection and Quantification of Adulterated Beef and Mutton Products by Multiplex Droplet Digital PCR
TL;DR: In this paper , five pairs of primers were designed for quintuple droplet digital PCR (qddPCR) of specific genomic regions from five selected species and specificity and amplification efficiency were determined.
