Cell surface carbohydrates of Agrobacteriumtumefaciens involved in adherence during crown gall tumor initiation
TL;DR: N-acetyl-D-galactosamine and β-D -galactose, located in the O-antigenic region of Agrobacterium lipopolysaccharide, are involved in host-bacterium adherence during crown gall tumor initiation as indicated by fluorescence spectroscopy studies.

Lipid profile of the strains of agrobacterium tumefaciens in relation to agrocin resistance
TL;DR: It is revealed that agrocin resistance brought about an increase in the amount of unsaturated fatty acids with concomitant decrease of saturated fatty acid content in A. tumefaciens as obtained by gas-liquid chromatographic analysis.

Isoenzyme patterns of several hydrolytic enzymes of agrobacterium tumefaciens
TL;DR: The isoenzyme patterns of several hydrolytic enzymes in virulent and avirulent, agrocin-resistant Agrobacterium tumefaciens have been studied and no absolute requirement of any metal ions for the activity of the enzyme was observed.
