TL;DR: In this article , suicidal ideation and symptoms of depression and anxiety are associated with chronic cough, and they were associated with younger age, worse cough severity and intensity visual analogue scales (VAS), Leicester Cough Questionnaire, Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ9), and Generalised Anxiety Disorder Assessment (GAD7).
