Structural diversity of alkaline-earth 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylates
Balendra,Arunachalam Ramanan +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural landscape of the system containing divalent alkaline-earth metal ion (Mg, Ca and Sr) with the rigid 2,5-thiophenedicarboxylic acid (TDC) under varying solvothermal condition (DMF, DMA and DEF) yielded five new crystals: [Mg(TDC), (DEF)2(H2O)1/2] (1), [Ca(Tdc) (DMA)] (2),[Ca

Calcium and Strontium Coordination Polymers Based on Rigid and Flexible Aromatic Dicarboxylates: Synthesis, Structure, Photoluminescence and Dielectric Properties
Balendra,Azeem Banday,Sevi Murugavel,Pawan K. Kanaujia,G. Vijaya Prakash,Arunachalam Ramanan +5 more
- 21 Sep 2017
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors synthesized six coordination polymers (CPs) with rigid frameworks for future dielectrics, which exhibited interesting dielectric behaviour and exhibited photoluminescence with blue or bluish-green emission.

Photoluminescence Properties of Two Closely Related Isostructural Series Based on Anderson-Evans Cluster Coordinated With Lanthanides [Ln(H2O)7{X(OH)6Mo6O18}]•yH2O, X = Al, Cr.
Shailabh Tewari,Mohammad Adnan,Balendra,Vineet Kumar,Gaurav Jangra,Gaddam Vijaya Prakash,Arunachalam Ramanan +6 more
TL;DR: The paper describes synthesis and structural characterization of the whole series of two closely related lanthanide coordinated chromium or aluminum hexamolybdates (Anderson-Evans cluster) including twelve new members hitherto unreported, which strongly suggest a possible energy transfer from f levels of Lanthanide ions to d levels of chromium (III) causing the quenching of lanthanides emission when coordinated with chromium molyBDates.

Synthesis, crystal structures, dielectric and magnetic properties of manganese sulfonyldibenzoates
Balendra,Balendra,Bharti Singh,Azeem Banday,Shailabh Tewari,Vineet Kumar,Sevi Murugavel,P. A. Joy,Arunachalam Ramanan +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a systematic investigation of the system manganese(II) salt-H2SBA-auxiliary ligand-solvent successfully led to the isolation of six new multidimensional coordination polymers.
