Characterization of the corrosion performances of as‐cast Mg–Al and Mg–Zn magnesium alloys with microarc oxidation coatings
Yuna Xue,Xin Pang,Bailing Jiang,Hamid Jahed,Di Wang +4 more
- 09 Dec 2019
TL;DR: The MAO coatings on AZ31B, AZ80, and ZK60 Mg alloys significantly improved their corrosion resistance. The ZK60 alloy exhibited the best corrosion resistance among the three alloys studied.

Comparison of the tribological behavior of quench-tempered ductile iron and austempered ductile iron with similar hardness
Chen Liu,Yuzhou Du,Xin Zui Wang,Qingchun Zheng,Dong Mei Zhang,Dongjie Liu,Chao Yang,Bailing Jiang +7 more
TL;DR: The tribological behavior of quench-tempered ductile iron (QTDI) and ADI with similar hardness was investigated in this article , where it was shown that ADI had a better wear resistance than QTDI, which was due to the transformation of residual austenite into martensite induced by friction stress.

Sand erosion and crack propagation mechanism of Cr/CrN/Cr/CrAlN multilayer coating
Di Wang,Songsheng Lin,Tian Tian,Ming-Xia Liu,G. R. Chang,Dan Dong,Jing Shi,Mingjiang Dai,Bailing Jiang,Ke-song Zhou +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the influence of various modulation ratios on microstructure and Al 2 O 3 sand erosion behavior of multilayer coatings is systematically studied, and it is determined that coating cracking is caused by high tensile stress under CrAlN layer.

Effect of thermal activation energy on the structure and conductivity corrosion resistance of Cr doped TiN films on metal bipolar plate
TL;DR: The thickness of the Cr doped TiN films reduced from 573.1 nm to 487.5 nm with the elevating substrate temperature, increasing the films density and hydrophobicity as discussed by the authors .
