TL;DR: The plasma fractions used, brief details of the patients, their response to treatment and the transfusion reactions observed in some patients are described and the conclusions derived from this more extensive clinical experience are reported.

Studies on fibrinogen fractions isolated from human plasma by precipitation with cold ether. I. Plasma kinin formation by the activation of contained plasminogen.
TL;DR: During clinical trials of a human antihaemophilic globulin concentrate (HAHG), it was observed that the transfusion of this material into haemophiliacs was sometimes followed by reactions similar to those observed by Fox, Goldsmith, Kidd and Lewis (1961) after the intravenous injection of purified bradykinin.

The Characterisation and Stability during Storage of Human Immunoglobulin Prepared for Clinical Use
TL;DR: There was no evidence of any major change in clinical immunoglobulin during storage for 4 years at 4°C, and changes under extreme or prolonged storage conditions were apparent in anticomplement activity before they were detected by other techniques.
13
Activation of endogenous plasma proteolytic enzymes with the consequent production of pharmacologically active polypeptides.
TL;DR: Transfusion of human antihæmophilic globulin concentrate routinely prepared by the method of Kekwick and Wolf was found to give clinical reactions resembling the effects of a plasma kinin.
