Heating rate explains species-specific coral bleaching severity during a simulated marine heatwave
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors explored the sensitivity of coral growth forms, such as P. damicornis and Plesiastrea versipora, to heating rate and found that faster heating rates caused more severe bleaching and declines in coral health.
