Chemical composition, physical traits and fatty acid profile of goat milk as related to the stage of lactation
Nina Strzałkowska,A. Jozwik,Emilia Bagnicka,J. Krzyzewski,K. Horbanczuk,B. Pyzel,Jarosław O. Horbańczuk +6 more
- 01 Jan 2009
TL;DR: The coefficients of the calculated Pearson's correlation showed that the concentration of MUFA and PUFA (including conjugated linoleic acid - CLA) which are most desirable from the nutritive point of view, is negatively correlated with the daily milk yield as discussed by the authors.

Lignans: Quantitative Analysis of the Research Literature
Andy Wai Kan Yeung,Nikolay T. Tzvetkov,Nikolay T. Tzvetkov,Aneliya A. Balacheva,Maya G. Georgieva,Ren-You Gan,A. Jozwik,B. Pyzel,Jarosław O. Horbańczuk,Ettore Novellino,Alessandra Durazzo,Massimo Lucarini,Emanuela Camilli,Eliana B. Souto,Eliana B. Souto,Atanas G. Atanasov,Antonello Santini +16 more
TL;DR: Cancer (e.g., breast cancer), cardiovascular disease, and antioxidation were the major themes and more of them should be conducted in the future to substantiate the beneficial effects and optimal dose of lignan intake in humans.

The concentration of free fatty acids in goat milk as related to the stage of lactation, age and somatic cell count.
Nina Strzałkowska,A. Józacute˜wik,Emilia Bagnicka,J. Krzyzewski,K. Horbanczuk,B. Pyzel,D. Słoniewska,J.O. Horbanczuk +7 more

TL;DR: The study aimed at determining the concentration of free fatty acids (FFA) and some chemical and physical traits of goat milk as related to the stage of lactation, age and somatic cell count (SCC) and milk obtained from goats with healthy mammary glands was characterized by low susceptibility to lipolysis.

The effect of feeding linseed cake on milk yield and milk fatty acid profile in goats
A. Jozwik,Nina Strzałkowska,Emilia Bagnicka,Z Lagodzinski,B. Pyzel,W. Chylinski,A Czajkowska,Weronika Grzybek,D. Słoniewska,J. Krzyzewski,J.O. Horbanczuk +10 more

TL;DR: The study aimed at determining the effect of supplementation the diet with linseed on milk yield and milk fatty acids profile in the middle stage of lactation of goats and found that the linseed cake led to increase in milkield and to favourable changes in fatty acid profile.
