Order of accuracy of QUICK and related convection-diffusion schemes
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors correct some misunderstandings that have appeared in the literature concerning the order of accuracy of the QUICK scheme for steady-state convective modeling and other related convection-diffusion schemes are also considered.

Comparison of truncation error of finite-difference and finite-volume formulations of convection terms
TL;DR: In this paper, it was shown that there are significant differences in spatial truncation error between formulations of convection involving a finite-difference approximation of the first derivative and a finite volume model of flux differences across a control-volume cell.
