TL;DR: In this paper, the authors show that both non-basal dislocation nucleation and hcp-to-bcc phase transformation can be activated at the interface under external loading when the basal slip systems are effectively suppressed.

Effects of solutes on dislocation nucleation and interface sliding of bimetal semi-coherent interface
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of solutes on the plastic deformation of bimetal interfaces has been investigated and the authors showed that solute segregation at the interface could change the underlying mechanism of interface-facilitated dislocation nucleation and interface sliding.
