Papers
Iodine determination in biological materials : Options for sample preparation and final determination
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors describe the development of various acid sample decomposition methods, as well as an extraction (leaching) method and compares them with the Schoniger Combustion technique.

Catalytic detection principle for high-performance liquid chromatography: Determination of enantiomeric iodinated thyronines in blood serum
TL;DR: In this article, a method for the trace determination of iodinated thyronines with differentiation of the optical isomers by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) is described, which is effected by means of a catalytic principle based on the iodide-catalysed reaction of chloramine-T and N,N′-tetramethyldiaminodiphenylmethane, producing a coloured complex that can be measured spectrophotometrically at 600 nm.

Investigation of microwave assisted drying of samples and evaporation of aqueous solutions in trace element analysis.
TL;DR: Investigations of microwave assisted drying of sample materials and microwave assisted evaporation of aqueous sample solutions and acidic digestion residues were accomplished by means of special rotors for the microwave digestion system MULTIWAVE and results agree well with conventional drying at 105 °C.
